FAQs

  • During this comprehensive assessment, we will discuss your child’s health history, complete a physical examination, and will determine what specialized testing is needed.

  • Initial Visits:

First visit appointments for new patients are typically 60 minutes depending on history and conditions. In this timeframe, the practitioner will gather extensive history on the patient, create a timeline, review prior labs if applicable, conduct a physical, and answer questions.

    Lab Review:

Second visit to review testing after the blood work has been processed (typically scheduled for 45 minutes within 3-4 weeks after the initial visit) and then develop personal treatment plan.

    Follow-Up Visits:

Additional follow ups as indicated to recheck blood markers, monitor symptoms, and adjust treatment if needed.

  • LAB TESTING:

Comprehensive testing is one of the most valuable tools in a functional medicine approach. At your child’s first appointment, we will determine which conventional and functional labs will best help us uncover the root cause of your child’s symptoms.

*Specialized functional laboratory testing will likely also be ordered at the initial visit. The specialized functional labs tests CANNOT be billed to insurance.
